A popular and highly versatile Scout, always willing to give extra time to help his peers or with difficult tasks. Has also devised the basics in order to launch a Scout Group website.
 
Nathan Felix, Explorer Scout
Worked hard and was recently presented with his DofE Silver Award, and is currently working with other Explorer Scouts for them and him to gain their DofE Gold Award.
 
Jamie Smith, Explorer Scout
Gained a place on the GLN WSJ Unit and became a dynamic member of the team.

Shown outstanding perseverance at the recent District Camp, helping to support bases throughout the weekend.  He was really stretched but never once complained.

Has shown great commitment towards her Scouting, and has been instrumental in leading a recruitment campaign for more members.

Has displayed a huge positive appetite for his Scouting and has been especially helpful with bringing in new young people into his Scout Group.

A dynamic Scout who will always find more time to help other people, especially the Beaver Scouts, and has been constantly reliable and helpful.
 
Adult Award – Mari Timoney, Cub Scout Leader, 5th Islington
Mari has spent the last 2 years re-building her Cub Scout Section.  She recruited two new adult leaders and brought back two former leaders.  Through her huge enthusiasm has given the whole Scout Group a new lease of life.  She has inspired the young people to develop through a whole wide series of activities and camps.  One proud mother of one Mari’s Cub Scouts says “Nothing is ever too challenging or difficult for Mari”.
