The Aim of the Scout Movement is ...
"to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national, and international communities".

Young people and parents can find out about Scouting - how you can join or help, or Where your nearest group is by using the links on the relevant pages on this web site.

Membership is open to all young people and adults, regardless of their ability, who are prepared to accept Scouting's fundamental principles. Today, there are over half a million adults and young people enjoying the fun and friendship of Scouting in the United Kingdom.

What is Scouting?
Scouting is a global, educational youth Movement. In the UK Scouting is organised through The Scout Association and has a clear purpose:

To help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as Members of their local, national and international communities.

Camden, City & Islington Scout District has Groups in all parts of the Boroughs of Camden and Islington as well as the City of London, offering activities for boys and girls, young men and young women,  from the ages of 6 - 25.
